Vieilles Vignes Blanc 2004, Domaine Gauby

Nice surprise with this very good wine from Roussillon located near Perpignan.
We tried with wine around tapas and antipasti.

I opened the bottle 2 hours before drinking it. 

The colour is golden yellow, with a nice brightness.

The nose reminds burgundy after aeration, it is complex, with citrus and toasted notes... very interesting.
The palate is very nice too, I found again a burgundy style : buttery, toasted and brioche notes. It is very nice, I like it.
The aftertaste is long, not so much on citrus and bitterness...

I think this wine is better if you let it opened 2-3 hours after opening.
