Easter weekend... I opened a Champagne I really like, a Jacquesson, "Cuvée 734". This champagne is based on the 2006 vintage. It is composed of 54% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot noir and 26% Pinot Meunier.
The nose is very nice... Almonds, cream, citrus and toasted bread. The palate is very interesting, the bubble is very thin, it is very light and delicate. We have again the toasted bread, the
citrus... I like it. Maybe I prefer the last Cuvée (733), with more expression, but the 734 is really a good champgne. Jacquesson is for me one of the best champagne for this price (45-50 chf).
