One of my best friend (Eric) suggested me to create new categories on my blog. Let's begin with the "Apero entre
In this article of this item I'll speak about white wines...
Spring is almost there... and I don't know if I must speak about drinks around the fireplace or on the
terrasse with a sunset...
In fact, I would speak about "friend" wines... the bottle ready to be open, not so expensive, when you have friends for an aperitive dinner.
The wines I suggest are all between 6-15 Euros (8-20CHF). So it is not great wines, but it procures pleasure immediately.
- GUILHEM BLANC, Moulin de Gassac :
This wine is made by Daumas Gassac.
It is fresh, thin and light. I like this wine for the aperitive
- COTE DE BEAUNE, Joseph Drouhin :
A little bit more complex than Guilhem, it is a very interesting wine. Easy to understand, it procures a lot of pleasure.
I already spoke about it HERE.
- MAS KAROLINA, Blanc :
It is a wine from the Côtes catalanes in the south of France. It smells white flowers and in the mouth a lot of flavours... At the end (not so long...) a little bit of wood but it's real pleasure to drink it... I recommand you this wine for an aperitive on the terrasse in summer.
- LES GENETS, Damien
Wine from Loire Valley, it's a Savennières. Some Saveniières are really expensive (for example Le Clos de La Coulée de Serrant) but this one is less than 13 Euros... And it's very good. I already spoke about it HERE. The nose is complex, like the Riesling and in the mouth it's very fresh, aromatic but also mineral... Very good!
- FECHY, La Colombe, R.
I'd like to finish by a Swiss one... Very fresh, bright, it's a real pleasure for the dishes with cheese (raclette or fondue). From Vaud district, Raymond Paccot is one of the famous winemaker in Switzerland. This is his first wine, not very complex, but the pleasure is here...
It's just the beginning of this category... I will speak about other "Friends" wines to share for an aperitive in another
Maybe I could speak about Kaya of Domaine des Soulanes or the Cuvée Manon of Clos Marie...
