End of the week, friday night, I brought this bottle for the aperitive at Oli and Miro's place.
Very nice domain, the Parcé brothers are also the winemakers of the Rectorie Domain (very nice wines like l'Argile, Côté Montagne, Côté Mer...).
The domain is located in Roussillon, not far from Perpignan, right next to Maury.
Maury is famous for its sweet natural wines aged in tanks under the sun.
But I am here for a dry white wine made with White Grenache, Grey Grenache, Maccabeu and White Carignan.
The Coume Marie 2007.
The colour is golden yellow, very bright.
The nose is very nice, on the white flowers, yellow fruits and a hint of citrus.
The palate is very expressive, sweet, with flavour of citrus, pear and yellow fruits. There is also a nice minerality and a very nice length, with buttered notes!!
A very nice wine from Roussillon... the bottle is empty very quickly.
