I like Laurent Combier's wines!!
In Paris, we tried the famous Clos des Grives a Crozes-Hermitage (Syrah 100%), maybe a little bit young, but nonetheless very good!!

The colour is bright red, not to dark.
The nose is very interesting, with notes of liquorice, blackcurrant, blackberry and a little bit of wood.
The palate is very sweet and fresh. It is on the freshness and more on the red fruits than the nose.
At the end, it is full of spices... Very nice...
After two hours it is even better!!

Very nice wine!!! But it is better to wait a little bit and maybe open the bottle of 2008!!

The grapes of "Clos des Grives" are situated near Alain Graillot's vines... another great winemaker of the appellation.

If you want to post picture of the wine in the glass, it would be necessary to correct the temperature of colour. Here we have a strong orange/yellow dominance which affects the actual colour of
the wine. In that case, I don't see the point to post this picture.
