During our last wine night around the Loire Valley, we opened a wine from François Chidaine. Les Choisilles 2007.
François Chidaine is a great producer in Loire, one of the best of Montlouis sur Loire.
The wine is very bright, with a nice golden yellow colour.
The nose reveals very nice flavours... honey, white fruits, bitter orange, truffles and chalky notes.
The palate is very good, with an extreme minerality!!
It is really interesting, around honey and white fruits...
A nice fat, but with a great freshness and a hint of bitterness make that this Montlouis is very well structured!!
A very good wine!!
