Saturday I was in Toulouse, under the sun. We decided to have a barbecue, so I opened a Rosé.
I bought it in La Cave Spirituelle in Toulouse (the shop I spoke about in last article).

From the website of the domain:

"Our vineyard is cultivated respecting the environment, trying to keep an harmonious relation with nature.

Thereby products used for the treatment of our vines are chosen in function of their impact on the nature and each intervention is carefully thought out.

Since 1995 not a single insecticide has been applied to our vines, so today a natural equilibrium has been restored.

Since the 2008 vintage we have organic farming certification.

We thereby respect our specifications for the Culture, the Techniques of vinification and the Quality of our wines."

This wine is a Côtes de Provence made with Cinsault, Syrah and Grenache.

First, I like the colour, it is a pale pink as you can see on the photo:

The nose reveals flavours of white flowers, citrus (grapefruit) and spices.

In the mouth, it is fresh, very fresh and silky on the tongue.
The length in the mouth is nice but the wine is not present too much.
With a barbecue it is matching very well.

I like this wine, made for aperitives and barbecues on terrasse during the sunsets... You have to try... why not this friday, after a week of work, just enjoying the beginning of the weekend...
